To make this cowgirl diaper cake, I used 3 different sized circles to make the 'pinwheel' style, with 2 dowel rods in the middle to keep it stable. I used size 1 diapers so that the mommy could leave it together longer if she wanted too.

I bought brown & pink paisley ribbon and cowgirl ribbon to wrap around each tier, I doubled up on the paisley ribbon for top and bottom tiers. I had the baby's name embroidered on a piece of felt and made a belt buckle for the scrapbook.

I fastened the ribbons with diaper pins. I put a stuffed horse as a cake topper, and had baby travel kit, teether, medicine dropper, and a brush & comb set around the whole cake.

This cake was for my friend's baby shower and it was the first cake I ever made. I enjoyed making this cake.
