Thanks for your easy-to-follow video and instructions on the site I made my first-ever diaper cakes for a friend's baby shower last week. I used them as centerpieces and made a total of 10.
It took 27 diapers for each cake. Bottom layer: 20 size pampers swaddlers and top layer: 7 newborn size pampers swaddlers. Thanks again for sharing the instructions on the internet because I could not have done it without your help.

This diaper cake was made with 67 size 2 generic disposable diapers. Each diaper was rolled and secured with an elastic band. I then put a rubber band around 8 rolled diapers, then filled that rubber band with more rolled diapers until I created the size of tier that I wanted. I did the same with the next 2 tiers. The rest was just creative decorating.
Both my daughter and daughter-in-law are expecting their first children in May. I wanted to do something special for their showers, so I went on-line and found ideas for diaper cakes (which I had never heard of). I created my very first cake with a Disney theme as both my son and daughter-in-law are Disney fanatics. I actually found the Mickey and Minnie cake toppers when I was looking for Valentines gifts. I purchased the ribbon and flowers at a craft shop. The rest of the embellishments I used from my scrapbooking supplies.
All my friends who have seen this cake are raving. They love the creativity and general cuteness of the cake. For a first effort, I am very pleased with the outcome.

Here are my pictures of my creations inspired by your website. I've included the Diaper Cake with the Baby Mickey and Baby Minnie on top of the cake since the Baby Shower was Neutral and since the Mother to be likes Mickey I came up with the Idea of printing these Disney Babies online and pasting them on Foam.
I also included your idea of the bouquet roses in Neutral colors as well. The Baby Shower was a total hit once my Cake arrived everyone stood up to admire my work inspired by your website.I'll be writing soon again with a great Idea for a Centerpiece for Baby Showers.

This is my 2nd attempt at a diaper cake. I made it for my cousin and it turned out beautiful. She wanted something different and really girly. I think I might make a few more for fun.
