Pink and Brown Polka Dot Diaper Cake Baby Sock Bouquet

My favorite part of this pink and brown polka dot diaper cake is the sock bouquet at the top. The cute scalloped edge makes the flowers so adorable!! LOVE IT! And your tip for securing the bouquet to the top was great. You did a fabulous job Mandy! It has a beautiful mod mom feel to it. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Mandy's comments:
This cake was made using 60 Pampers Swaddlers Size 1 diapers, 2 bottles (9 oz & 5 oz), 2 pacifiers, 6 pairs of baby socks, and a soft rattle bunny toy.

The cake topper was made by rolling 6 pairs of baby socks into rose shapes and securing with a clear elastic. The flowers and greenery were attached to the sock by sliding the stem through the elastic around the sock. To secure the topper to the cake, I covered the top bottle lid with a few layers of tissue paper (cut to size) and secured it with another clear elastic. Flower stems and leaves (already attached to socks) were hot-glued to the tissue paper to ensure that all baby items were completely usable.
